Order Up was an educational challenge installation created for Oracle Academy to introduce students to concepts of computer coding in a fun, accessible way.

Participants were tasked with creating the programming code for a “robot chef” to complete an assigned recipe. To complete the challenge, students used coding terminology to create a set of instructions for their robot to travel throughout the coding kitchen collecting ingredients, preparing food, and delivering a final dish.

Following the activity students had an opportunity to meet with Oracle Academy representatives for hands-on experience with computer coding, including introductions to tutorials for Oracle Academy software.
